Chhatrashibir condolence statement on the passing of Father of the 147th martyr Ali Asgar Khan Rahat
Suleman Khan, the proud father of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir's 147th martyr, Ali Asgar Khan Rahat, and a resident of Kayastharail Khan Bari in Sylhet city, passed away at approximately 1:30 AM on December 2 (Monday) while undergoing treatment at Sylhet Al Haramain Hospital due to a lung-related illness. Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raji'un. He is survived by three sons, four daughters, and numerous well-wishers. The Central President of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir, Manzurul Islam, issued a statement of condolence on his death.
In the condolence message, Manzurul Islam stated, "With the passing of the father of Shaheed Ali Asgar Khan Rahat, we have lost a venerable guardian. He was a dedicated and noble personality in the Islamic movement. His demise has left me profoundly saddened."
He further remarked, "Even after the martyrdom of his son, he never faltered; instead, he stood steadfast in his sympathy and love for the Islamic movement. The father of Shaheed Ali Asgar Khan Rahat was a devoted supporter of the cause, who transformed his grief into strength and remained unwavering in his genuine support and inspiration for the organization. His commitment and love will forever remain a source of inspiration for us."
