On 18th April, Shafiul Islam, a meritorious student of the Department of M.Sc (Mathematics) of Rajshahi University, and associate of Shibir, passed away in an attack by Chhatra Moitree. His house was in Shahbazpur village of Shibganj Police Station in Chapainawabganj.
