Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir condemns and protests brutal police killing of Bangladesh Jatiyotabadi Chhatra Dal Central Co-General Secretary and previously Chittagong North Chhatra Dal Joint Convener Nurul Alam Nuru after he was picked up by plainclothes men claiming to be security forces and brutally murdered.
Secretary General said, the day of the 11th of March of the year 1982 was at the same time a day of extreme sacrifice and a day of barbarity and oppression. Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, in a statement, has expressed its deep concern over the arrest of five Shibir leaders from Jessore, the police denial following their arrest, and not presenting them in court after arrest. Shibir in its statement also called for the immediate release of information of the whereabouts of the arrested leaders.
