Severe condemnation and protest of Sylhet police pointing and shooting at Shibir leader’s leg

Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir has strongly condemned and protested against the unjust police firing at the leg of president Fahad Ahmed of Kotwali thana East Chhatra Shibir at Bakhtiar Bibi Center during the city corporation elections in Sylhet.

People of the country have become hostage to the undemocratic behavior of the government

Yasin Arafat, the central president of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra shibir, said that the illegal government is clinging to the neck of the people like a cursed stone. The people of the country are fed up at the excessive actions of the government and their adopted terrorist minions. The government is not only harassing the opposition, but also created unstable conditions in the country by arresting ordinary people and students. In fact, the people of the country have become hostage to the undemocratic behavior of the illegal government.

On July 13, one lakh trees to be planted simultaneously throughout country.

Yasin Arafat, the central president of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, said that Bangladesh is facing the threats of natural calamity, which has already become a terrible problem. It is only possible to prevent this disaster by planting a lot of trees. To avoid harming the environment and making it green and beautiful, more trees should be planted. This will also benefit the country financially as well as protect the environment. There is no alternative to planting trees to protect the natural and environmental balance.

Its urgent to turn tree planting into a social movement

On the occasion of the tree plantation drive, Chhatra Shibir has planted more than 100,000 saplings at different places throughout the country including the capital at 10am. Today on 13th July, as part of the nationwide tree plantation drive from 11th-17th July, Chhatra Shibir planted one lakh trees. Chhatra Shibir central president Yasin Arafat took part in the tree plantation program at Dhaka Metropolitan North Branch in the capital. Meanwhile, Central office secretary Sirajul Islam, central social services secretary Abdul Jalil Akand, central executive council member Jamil Mahmud, Dhaka Metropolitan North President Azizul Islam Sajeeb, various leaders of the city were present.

Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir Secretary General Mobarak Hossain said that the inexhaustible talented students have created a brilliant example of accomplishing the impossible. They have worked hard to overcome the obstacles and brighten the face of the country's society and their families. They are not vessels to be neglected but are the precious assets of this country.
