Yasin Arafat, the central president of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, said that a prosperous Bangladesh is deserved by everybody. But one of the main obstacles to building a prosperous country is illiteracy. So, the student community has to come forward to build an illiterate-free country.
He said this while addressing attendants at a program for distributing money among the children studying in different educational institutions of Dhaka affected by the floods, under the initiative of Shibir, held in an auditorium at the capital. Central leaders were present during the program presided by Shibir Secretary General Mobarak Hossain.
Chhatra Shibir has continued flood relief activities as declared by the Central unit of Chhatra Shibir. As part of the declared activities, the Chhatra Shibir President Yasin Arafat has distributed flood relief among flood affected Dhonut upazila residents, and cash among the students
Today, Mobarak Hossain, the Secretary General of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, toured the flood affected areas and distributed aid among flood affected people in Jamalpur. At this time, he was accompanied by Central Library Secretary Hasnain Ahmed, Gazipur City President Abdul Jalil Akanda, Mymensingh City President Jashim Uddin, Jamalpur Zila President Khandakar Moqaddes Ali, and other local leaders.
Yasin Arafat, the Central President of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, said that although the people of the nation want a prosperous Bangladesh, this is becoming difficult day by day because of disunity. It is impossible to build a prosperous nation without a united approach.
